What I do:
I help individuals to become an authentic leader of their own lives who can build a life and career filled with meaning and purpose. My coaching style is based on International Coaching Federation (ICF) coaching model as well as strategic consulting and organizational psychology frameworks that I've developed over the years working as a consultant and being a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial and Organizational (IO) psychology (currently, I'm in the process of finishing up the Ph.D program in IO psychology - expected to complete by May/June 2024).
Throughout my professional career, I’ve assisted hundreds of individuals and organizational leaders to show up more confidently and authentically + build and craft a life and career they actually love by providing frameworks, tools, and the space to safely explore their vision and purpose and develop tangible plans to start living in alignment with them.
My Story
Since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to be in a band. When my friends and I formed a rock band in college, I was extremely thrilled and ecstatic. While my bandmates and I had a great relationship, after a few years of playing together, it became clear that we were not on the same page and heading in the same direction. I started fostering internal resentment toward other members who were not meeting my expectation and, in my opinion at the time, were not taking the band seriously. Without having a discussion to sort out the differences and frustrations, we decided to break up.
After the band broke up, in search of my vision and purpose in life, I've worked in different industries, completed post-graduate education degrees and certificate programs, volunteered as a board of directors at non-profit organizations and enrolled in self-improvement workshops.
I was constantly chasing after the idea of "success" in terms of career and relationships and I always managed to achieve what I wanted to achieve. Despite what I called "successes", I've burned myself out, broke up with my romantic partners, got overwhelmingly anxious and depressed, and felt completely lost at times.
One thing that came clear to me during this journey was that what I really wanted was a life and career filled with purpose and meaningful relationships based on love, vulnerability, honesty, trust, and respect. After working with hundreds of people throughout my professional career as a consultant, I realized that many people are unhappy with their careers and lack a sense of purpose and meaningful relationships that could lead to their happiness and well-being.
My purpose is simple: I help individuals to build a life and career filled with meaning and purpose by coaching them on how to identify and achieve their vision.
Why do I do this? Because I get energized when I use my gift to identify where people are in their journey and provide them with exactly what they need to improve the quality of their lives. It took me a while to realize this but now I know helping people build a life they love is my purpose and true calling.
